United Arab Emirates is made out of seven emirates and one of them is Dubai which is known as the most modern emirate. Dubai travel sector is developing at a very good pace and this is resulting into the development of the best Hotels in the world.

Dubai is relatively a new tourist destination and has been gaining a lot of popularity in the past few years.  Dubai’s infrastructure is what makes it such a special place as it’s built in a desert.

Dubai is mainly renowned for:

  • Shopping
  • Partying
  • Sunbathing and Swimming
  • Fine Dining
  • Sport Events
  • Technology

As Dubai is bordered by a desert it gets very hot, but fortunately it’s situated on a costal strip. In summer it is very dry and humid, but if you want to visit Dubai in cooler weather you should visit from October to May.

What can I do in Dubai?

Beaches
As Dubai has the whitest and sandiest beaches in the world water sport is very common. The water is very salty but if you don’t like it most of the hotels have their pool available. If one wants diving activities you’ll have to drive for about 90 minutes to the East coast of or the Sharjah enclave, Khor Fakkan.

Desert Safari
Heading out to the desert on luxury SUVs like the Hummer H3 is a great experience and with the experience driver it feels like you’re riding a roller-coaster ride.

Ski
In the new Mall of the Emirates you can now find a wonderful skiing centre. You can ski or snowboard as the slope is very large for an indoor area.

Wild Wadi
A great way to beat the heat is to visit the Wild Wadi water amusement park. This park is a great location both for kids and adults.

Dubai Creek Cruise
A ride to see what one day served as port, you can still feel the old shipping culture and you can also see some old structures.

Golfing
If you like Golf you can try the local favourite Sand Golf or else go for the traditional one in a very luxury environment.

Hot Air Balloon
You can take a ride to see Dubai from the sky and also enjoy seeing the sand Dunes and Mountains.
