Look for resturants that offer a daily special.  Usually these specials are cheaper.  If you really want to go at an expensive restaurant, consider going there during lunch, since it is cheaper.  Check the Internet for any 2 for one meal deals. Don't be afraid to use a coupon, it can save you a bundle.

Loyalty programs

Join any and all loyalty programs possible. Even if you think you will never stay at this brand of hotel ever again or fly that airline, do it. There are usually other benefits including dining programs that can add to your numbers and lead to getting free rooms or upgrades.

Search the web

Make an attentive search on the web to check for discount show and teatre tickets.  You can try to get discounted tickets for the same day performance at the box office or at a discount booth.

Renting

Consider renting instead of staying at a hotel.  Usually renting an apartment is less expensive than staying at a hotel.  Renting offers the option of eating more.
