The Victorious Philippine Airlines

Some people say that war means opportunity, perhaps that is why Philippine Airlines was created in 1941. You have to admit that took some guts, and there is no denying the entrepreneurial spirit that has kept them together ever since. Philippine Airlines is noteworthy for many reasons, not the least of which is their incredible resilience that has brought them so far.

PAL (Philippine Airlines) has a rich history that would seem to not be found among their peers. Do continue reading because there is a lot of fascinating information to discover about Philippine Airlines and all they've been through. Philippine Airlines is far more than just an international air company. The company is not just socially aware and responsible, it does what it can to help people in need all over the planet. The Philippine Airlines Foundation acts alongside Philippine Airline's community relations and was formed by the airline in 1992.

PALF is an accredited organization that offers a range of services that include disaster relief and different types of crisis aid. The primary part of the PALF program, though, are the PAL Medical Travel Grants. What they do is offer assistance in a variety of social and humanitarian forms to those who need it in the Philippines. The PAL foundation focuses primarily on the noble goal of helping those who cannot help themselves like the children and the elderly. In 1992 a Filipino entrepreneur by the name of Lucio Tan, financed a bid that made it possible to buy Philippine Airlines, Inc. The interesting part of that is he did it in secret and unknown to the existing Philippine government. Then, in 1995, Tan was appointed as chairman of PAL. Philippine Airline's was new to private ownership when those events took place in 1992. Ever since then, PAL has had its ups and downs right alongside the rest of the world and the Asian financial sector.

Airlines, as a business, are very hard to run. These companies do not enjoy the profit margins that other kinds of companies and businesses do. Since they worked through their receivership (in the later part of this decade), however, they are moving on. When you fly Philippine Airlines in the Philippines, you will no doubt experience the amenities offered by The Mabuhay Lounge. This is, in reality, owned by PAL and is their very own airport lounge. This lounge is only available to people traveling Mabuhay Class or are members of the Miles Elites and Mabuhay Premier Elite programs. Mabuhay Lounge facilities can also be found in international airports in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Honolulu. PAL offers this and other perks to the customers it values the most. Philippine Airlines has to carry a larger burden of social and financial responsibility than most, if not all, other major airlines. The reason for this is due to the small size of their country plus the general and chronic financial stress that exists in the Philippines. When you are living and operating in such a small area, it is wise to accept that you cannot ignore the realities of social circumstances. Consider they opened their own aviation flight school that trains people for aviation careers.

Not only are they helping people in the Philippines, but they are providing aviation career opportunities in their country. When I am not working on my dog behavior problems business I am doing research Phillllippine Airlines.
